Big 9 Conference Recognizes Seven Winona Winhawk Swimmers!

With the completion of the Girls’ Big 9 Swimming & Diving Championships, yesterday the Big 9 Conference issued its All Conference and Honorable Mention list

Winona had six swimmers named to All Big 9 status and one Honorable Mention swimmer.  The points an athlete earns plus 1/8 the points earned in ‘A’ relay events are totaled.  The top 35 point earners of the meet become the All Big 9 swim list.  (The divers are determined by the top five finishers in the Big 9 meet.)

Congratulations girls! This come as no surprise to this blogger and the majority of fans that have watched you swim throughout your careers. As indicated, the majority of you will be returning. Carry on the leadership exhibited by your co-captains and the list will continue to flourish and grow with more Winhawks.
