MSI/USA State Senior Championships

Two weeks back, Minnesota Swimming held its Winter Session Senior Championships in Rochester.

It was the week after the Boy's HS State Championships so there were lots of guys in good shape.

Ryan Whalen was there, swimming for the Rochester Orcas, teh group he was swimmign with alllast Summer and fall. They have some great swimmers ovber there and the coaches got him in good shape for the HS season over here in Winona.

Ryan haad to swim against many of the same swimmers he had faced at the State Championships.

(Which I believe would have been fast enough to qualify for HS state or darn close)

Now here is a group of relays for coaches to drool over. Can't blame Ryan for wanting to go back and swim with these guys, but he is good enough to belong with them.
