Winhawks were flyin'

The Winona Winhawks, for the most part came to swim at Section Prelims. The 200 Medley Relay kicked things off with a school record time, taking top seed into Saturdays finals. The 200 Freestyle saw all personal bests with McKenna Marg, Greer Kosidowski, and Morgan Whyte all making the Consolation Final. The 200IM only let down was Birthday Girl McKenzie Porter missing her seed and dropping down. Hanna O'Neill, Razil Campbell both set personal bests. Alex Arnold is returning on Saturday for three Consolation Final. The 50 Free saw four PB's, Sr.Co-captain Ashlen Haines contribute jets. Emily Thurow had her Getty her into the Consolation Final. Haley O'Neill and Alex Zuelke are both in the Championship Final. The divers and the nest performance of the day getting all four competitors into the Finals for Saturday. The 100 Fly saw Hanna O'Neill not only swim a personal best but move up 12 spurs from her seed top make three Consolation Final. Reese GalewskI swam not only aPB, but moved up inner more notch to 2nd fastest EVER, AND GUI sub one minute. The 100 saw more PB's out of Emily Thurow and Alex Arnold to make Consolations. Haley O'Neill swamthe forth seed to makes Championship finals. 500 Free, PB's Ott of everyone. Reese Galewski makes the Consolation Finals. The 200 Free Relay swims the second fastest time Ebert. The 100 Back saw Alexa Lofgren swim a PB, Z Porter swims her seed but falls back five spots when everyone else drops time. McKenna Marg is seeded 11th and Morgan Whyte is in the Championship Final in sixth seed. The 100 Breast had Greer Kosidowski maker Consolation Finals and Alex Zuelke solidify her hold on the second fastest swim ever seeded first for Championship Finals. The 400 Free Relay touched in 3:51 cracking the all time list in tenth unseating the relay from 1983.
