I could post some of the times and matches that will be
front and center at this year’s Sedction1AA Girl’s Swimming & Diving
Championships, but I won’t.
During this season you’ve seen them all, raced and dove
against them all, and when it comes right down to it, it is all about you and
your performance right now.
Swimming and especially diving, is a team AND individual
sport, but in Sections, it is all about individual performance. You’re shooting
for that qualifying spot and it is within you to go after it. The beauty of Swimming
& Diving is that you have your team mates there to support, encourage and
CHEER for you while you lay it all out.
Sections is a celebration of what you have worked for this
season, intensity is GREAT but remember, we compete for enjoyment, enjoy the moment!
Good luck girls, you’ve dedicated yourself, you’ve put in
the work, you’ve felt the pain, it’s pay off time. Go out and show what you can
do!
