This is my blog that follows swimming & diving in Winona MN and those Winonans that have left to swim elsewhere. Occasionally I will post items of info related to swimming & diving in general.

The Winhawk that flew south for the winter.

Also, we don’t JUST have action here in Winona!

This Friday night, Former Winona Cotter Swimmer MacKenzie Brosnahan starts her collegiate career. The Emery Eagles kick off their season with a Blue/Gold Intrasquad meet.

The Emory women's squad will begin the 2012-13 season fresh off their third-consecutive NCAA Division III Championship, and the program's fifth national title overall.  The Eagles will be trying to become just the second team to win four or more consecutive NCAA Division III Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, and the first since Kenyon won 17 straight from 1984-2000.

MacKenzie is one of 10  Freshman new to the squad and will have some great competition and tradition to deal with right out of the gate.
