Winona Winhawk Junior Crystal Franzwa is the 2011 Big 9 Diving Champion.
The 2011 Big 9 Conference meet started on Friday this year, the divers were in action at Minnesota State University Mankato.
Details to follow, but Crystal won with Sophomore Janelle Mueller placing a very impressive 7th and Freshman Sara Scherbring scored very well to finish in the scoring in 14th.
Their performance along with his dedication to the sport earned their coach Jeremiah (JJ) Jackson, Big 9 Diving Coach of the Year!
Well done Winhawk divers, way to get the meet off on a great foot!
