Conditioning aside, the game us won or lost between your ears. You too have to believe, believe you can perform your list flawlessly. You can, you’ve practiced the same dives for hours, some longer than others. But what separates you from the other 10 people doing the same dive is attitude, confidence and mental preparation. Focus, calm and determination, accompanied by a light hearted recognition that most of the parents and students in the stands think you are crazy.
It’s the championships, enjoy yourself, and make it count. This is what you live for, been waiting for, this is FUN and besides, the team needs you!
