Lay of the Land

Last weekend all but one of the Big 9 teams headed to the Twin Cities to rustle up some different competition. Seven of the Big 9 Teams were competing at the Lakeville Relays. It looks like a fun meet, the events are, as the name implies, all relays:

200 medley relay
3 x 200 freestyle
3 x 100 Ind. Medley
4 x 50 freestyle
Diving Relay
250 Butterfly relay
Crescendo (50-100-200-500 yards)
3 x 100 backstroke
3 x 100 breast stroke
4 x 100 freestyle

LAKEVILLE RELAYS   Team results
Rochester John Marshall 152, Lakeville North 130, Rochester Century 113, Faribault 103, Lakeville South 103, Northfield 92, Shakopee 90, Austin 82, Mankato East 51, Minneapolis Edison 46, Rochester Mayo 43, Albert Lea 41.

Of course as reported, Winona was at the AV Invite just a few miles away:

Mankato West was in Prior Lake just a few miles west:

The only Big 9 team not swimming last weekend was Owatonna.
